Our data center is designed for operational carbon neutrality.
Lefdal Mine Datacenter is located inside mountain halls in a former mine. The mountain halls provide the “raw structure”, and less materials and related investments are required to provide the capacity. Reusing the mine also leads to less visual impact in the natural surroundings for such a large data center.

Modular Design
With our modular design, clients can reserve space and capacity for future growth. We do not over-engineer or force the use of materials that are not needed, rather waiting until we are close to going into operation and final design requirements and technology have been defined.
Our data center is designed for operational carbon neutrality. Operations are certified in accordance with NS-EN ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Standard, including a Working Waste Deployment Plan and procedures to prevent any pollution.
